The Thacher School's old dining hall was housed in an historic building built in the late 1800s. Thacher needed a new dining hall large enough to seat the entire student body and faculty. The new institutional kitchen is a significant improvement over its predecessor. The new building features extensive glazing, with views to the Ojai Valley below. A 40 ft. glass door slides open, blending indoor and outdoor dining areas.
