Seismic retrofit of 443,000 SF former teaching hospital.  Phased construction converted in to high-rise flexible research labs.  Extremely challenging and congested site in occupied building. Core and shell achieved LEED platinum.

Subterranean wastewater lift station (below campus parking lot).  Progressive cavity pumps, air system, Johnson Controls and Automated Logic Control PLC.  Stand-by generator and full redundancy of major systems.  Sound attenuation.  Commissioning, contingency documentation, and staff training.

Replacement of air release valves on 4-mile force main and reclaimed water pipelines in Malibu Canyon Road.  Required traffic diversion.  Interfaced with city of Malibu, LA County Public Works, and Tapia Municipal wastewater facility.
